Not just top 30 visits. There have been no reports/evidence we have met with Sadiq in any capacity. Him being the pick would be extremely unusual at this point.

I mean they are meeting with guys at his position group. It would be highly unlikely that they are not considering the top ranked player at his position. He was reportedly a joy to talk to interviews.

i think I’m leaning towards him not being who they pick, but they are absolutely considering him.

I asked AI to forego reading mock drafts and analyze other available data to make a sophisticated projection of who the Panthers will take at 19.

after making a comprehensive and rather intelligent overview of Dan Morgan’s tendencies, Dave Canales’ scheme fit, and overall roster needs-it finally spit out a name after much calculation.

with the 19th overall pick in the NFL draft, the Carolina Panthers select:

Princely Umanmielen, DE, Carolina Panthers

after being told that there was an small issue with this possibility, it updated and spit out a secondary name:

Domani Jackson, CB, Alabama

once again I pointed out this is unlikely, and explained why, so it ran the data again and came up with:

Benjamin Morrison, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

finally, I gave it permission to incorporate mock drafts into it’s formula and it told me Kenyon Sadiq because those mock drafts said so. It did say to keep an eye on Jermod McCoy though because of the team’s emphasis on positional value early. You can see the emphasis on CB for this reason.

Massive win for the Giants

they have pick 5 and 10....this not considered a great draft with 10 to 12 players with 1st round trades, but looks like they'll get 2 of them.  Or they could trade back for significant capital

If I am at 5 and Styles was there? Bang, that is my pick not yours.
Now, at ten with just two or three first found grades still hanging on the rack, you might take something for that. Should be some good offers.

It wont happen but if the giants added Styles and Downs to that defense Holy poo that would feed families

McShay on his pod is now saying he is hearing teams are being coy about Ty Simpson and at least 3 teams really like him.  Cards, Jets, Rams and they may have to move up to get him later in the first.

Rams could get an impact player at 13 to help this year but this is their window so they may want to move up from 61 to get Staffords replacement and have him on the bench for a year to restart another window.  And we know rams dont give a fug about future picks.    19 for 61, 2027 1rst and something else.  Hell yeah all day every day

Please please please Dan morgan do your thing and drum up interest in the 19th pick.  If you come away with a future first I will not say one negative thing about you for a year

    • Would Morgan or Beason have been HOFers' if injuries hadn't derailed their careers?  I was not a close watcher of the game when Morgan was in his prime but I thought Beason had a few seasons at close to Lukes' level of play.
    • Franchise QBs feast when things are rolling and the tide that raises boats when things are going sideways.  Bryce isn't that. He's a complimentary player, that's it.  When the defense and STs are on point, he plays loose and it shows.  When we are in a dog fight and things haven't gone our way, he struggles.  It's that simple. He's not a horrible QB, but he's not top tier either.  So the question begs, is this worthy of a second contract?  The answer should be no.  It definitely is my answer. Bryce will never be a QB that can produce wins largely on his arm.  That's a FRANCHISE QB, any other QB is simply a placeholder at the starter's position until that guy can be found.   At some point the excuses of lack of weapons will be a straw man.  Heck, it's nearly there now.  I mean if he doesn't look even better than last year will we blame it on the TE position?  'Well if Bryce only had a player like Kelce, Kittle or Gronk on this team...'  Are we really going to do that?
    • When I arrived at college, I was 18, not too much younger than some of these draft picks.  It was not a huge school, but there were guys on the team who were 21, 22, 23....playing ahead of me.  I was seventh on the depth chart.  Those guys have been through a few seasons, were stronger, more knowledgeable.  I was a better raw player than some of them, but those other factors matter.  As I grew stronger, more familiar with the playbook, and learned what it was like to play in college, I gradually improved and with that, I rose up the depth chart.  It took most of my freshman year for the light to come on.  Had the coach thrown me into the starting lineup day 1, I would have probably failed.    And that was college.  So I agree with you based on my experience on a much lower level.  Frankly, I think that is why so many kids drafted to fill huge gaps bust.  The teams are desperate.  Anyone who looks to fill vacancies in the starting lineup through the draft is desperate.  You draft depth to develop.  For this reason, I say, "Let Walker start for a while."  Maybe Brazzell can be our WR 4.  Throw Hunter into a rotation and ask him to do one or two things.  Freeling needs some strength and he needs to work on run blocking.
