Decker or Conklin?

Would either of these guys come on an 2 year incentive based contract, not a lot of guaranteed money, or is someone gonna overpay for them? If healthy, either of these guys could start at LT.

No idea what his price would be but he's only 25 IIRC so there's still some upside with him.

Decker, the left tackle. Conklin has only played a very few snaps there in the NFL.

If we could somehow get Salyer and Decker I'd take both and trade Stone Forsyth for a barrel of trash can punch.

Iirc decker asked to be released due to contract issues so I don’t think he’s willing to take a cheap prove it type deal

So you're comfortable with what we have? If not, do you just roll the dice on a rookie LT, that we really aren't guaranteed to get. Only a few guys in this draft can start day 21 at LT.

Of the two, Decker would be my choice, but not at the pricetag he would command. 

TBH, I'm in the Salyer camp as a competent fringe starter that is better than Yosh was, but unsure if he can hold up for 17+ regular season games. My guess is he would be a gamble like others are making on Chenal, Turk, etc. in rolling the dice on a promising young guy stuck buried on a talented depth chart.
