Defense without a doubt. If one of the top S is available, they need to pull the trigger. Same thing if one of the LB fall.

CB seems to growing as a need--maybe I am just realizing it.  I would be happy with an Edge or OT --but that is just me, I assume.

Glad you said this because this is where I am--question--would you call McDonald a 1 or 3?  I think he could play the DE and we could use Wharton as a change of pace and passing down guy--but I don't know enough about it in relation to Evero's scheme--what say you?

I think--based on value more than need, perhaps, that we will go with a Tackle --either defensive or offensive---early.  I think we could trade back--watch the Ty Simpson action--if he gets by 15, a team like the Cardinals or Jets could move up.  (Save this post and use it against me after the draft.)

CB isn't lacking much depth, don't forget about Thornton. They were picked apart in the middle of the field and right outside the hash, Wallace and Rozeboom were abused the entire season.

Tmac could get there but he's not in the same aid as Jackson Smith or Justin jefferson. I would trust Bryce to win me the game on the last drive before Darnold so I guess I believe he is more skilled than Darnold. We have seen Darnold here and his decision making under pressure wasn't nearly as good as Bryce. If it was he might still be here

Darnold is easily twice the QB Bryce is. Please stop projecting the wishing and hoping and stick to what is.

I’ve been warming to Avieon Terrell from Clemson at 19. He forced five fumbles this year and three the year before. On top of 25 pass deflections in the past two years. He looks like a guy with that dawg in him.

I think most people have the same consensus with going Defense 1st but honestly I think this team has been lacking talent for so many years that we could really still go almost any position on the field and truly just keep picking BPA when the Panthers are on the clock. It could be WR at this point or an OL which I would be fine with as long as the impact is immediate. 

Not to beat a dead horse but a QB has to be chosen sometime within this draft.  I really do think BY is so ineffective and inefficient that getting some legit competition outside of just Pickett is a much needed upgrade that DM has to keep up with......  

As far as what I would want is outside a QB is someone who can terrorize an Offensive game planners scheme, so whether that is Safety, IDL or my preference in ILB.  After this successful FA period for once DM has really set himself perfectly to go BPA and keep this momentum rolling into a season where we FINALLY are hopeful for the future.

DJ Reader at nose would solve some problems and open up more possibilities in the draft. Unfortunately, Evero doesn't seem to value the "run-plugging" DT.
