I agree, but would add Proctor to the mix. He could not only serve as a backup tackle this year, and if he doesn't develop into a tackle, he would be a great replacement for one of our guards. -

There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster 2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive 4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
