Myles Garrett Traded to Rams

Could be a good deal for both teams. Rams are all in to win now. Browns get a first, second, and a third plus Verse who is five years younger and still on his rookie deal.

If they're all in for their window why spend a first round pick on a project/probably bust qb? A guy that got benched in the college playoffs lol.

Rams should be the favorite heading into the season. Whaddaya know, the Superbowl is at their stadium this year too. Maybe the Chargers will make it from the AFC. Of course, that would require the Chargers to win in the playoffs instead of just choke it away.

There was a story making the rounds on draft night that earlier Sneed had told him he was going to be a 1st rounder. 

Maybe they had to make good on their prediction?

Seems like as good a reason as any other.

Not really if McVeigh thinks he's the future at QB. Sit him a year, let him learn behind Stafford. Rams have one more run with him as QB. They're taking a shot again.

This trade could go either way when it's all said and done. As good as Garrett is he isn't without flaws and he'll be 31 by the end of the season. Still. The Browns are the Browns though. Present day the Rams are a force to be reckoned with in the NFC regardless. And clearly the Rams are not content with either mediocre or nonexistent competition at the most consequential positions on the football field. People can get in their feelings about that being pointed out in relation to our own team but that's very clearly just an obvious defense mechanism. I'm eager to see where we end up in comparison when January comes along. Stay tuned.

Think the Rams won out on this trade pretty big. 3 draft picks that will probably be at the end of their rounds really translates to Verse + a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Well hold on - they traded for a 30 year old DE.

There's no telling how good Simpson will be - you can't just call him their future QB without him playing a down of NFL football. Hell, his college ran him out of town.

Garrett is a lock first ballot HOFer and now has a chance to add a Lombardi to his legacy. Dude is going to be a nightmare this season.
