Newton, Mallett, and Gabbert given form of our playbook

I have a serious question here. Say we Draft Newton or Gabbert, won't we still have Moore, Clausen, Pike, and Null as well? What do you think the panthers would do with all of the other qbs?

I think either Palmer or McNabb would be better than Moore or Clausen and there's a good chance both will become available.

Who do you think is better: Matt Moore or Jimmy Clausen?

I'm not trying to start arguments or rehash old issues, I'm just curious what other people think. I know I watched Jimmy suck ass all season, but did Moore really suck that bad aside from that one game where he threw multiple td interceptions?

Mallet must've looked good during the private workout, because he's been included in a lot of conversations. Theres really no reason to use him as a smokescreen.

now here's where i wonder if they can evade some of the rules during the lockout. apparently players can't have any contact with coaches during the lockout - this includes the delivery of any information such as a playbook. could you get around this by providing a full playbook to the player you intend to draft number one overall a few hours before you actually draft them?

Good idea. Don't think there is anything preventing them from doing this.
