Lockout: When will you start to panic?

Recommended Posts

When this first started I didn't pay it much mind, because I assumed they would agree to something, but...as the weeks and months roll by...that thought of no football in the Fall and Winter creep into the back of my head. If there isn't a deal by...ehh the first day of training camp, I'll be worried..

I hear ya..

regardless, I'm not about to sit around yearning for these 2 sides to figure their poo out. Summer just got here, and fall is a nice time to go camping or find something to do on the weekends..

I'll manage.. while college football still goes on.

I'll miss football, but I'm not about to sit around panicking..

Love football and Fantasy Football. I will miss it.

I will watch college football and be content.

Frankly, watching so many of my friends get laid off and continue to be laid off because the jobs are going overseas, not because of anything more than greed, it is very hard for me to care about either the owners for the players; as has been said, millionaires vs. the billionaires.

I am getting quite fine with the idea of the 90% balance owed on my PSLs sitting in the bank; so fine, that next year, I might give them back to ole Jerry. God knows, no one will buy them coming off a 2-14 season.

lol to be honest

I don't really think I'll care. I'm fine watching baseball and hockey during the normal football season. I'm not gonna sit here and worry about whether there will be a football season or not because it won't affect me.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
