Otah wasn't above average in college nor in his 24 games in the NFL in pass protection......he is a top run blocker. average in pass protection. we will lose something in the ground attack.....but I don't see Otah being out meaning pass protection will really give Matthews that big of an edge over if Otah was in. Probably a little one.......yeah.

You CANNOT succesfully run against a team that was run blitzing the entire game. You must audible out of the runs and throw them out of it with short passes to the TE.

Cam WILL learn to recognize and audible this in the future.

Drafting a tackle and moving Otah to guard doesn't sound like such a horrible idea. I know we need help on D but we gotta protect the franchise.

I think we need to draft Matt Kalil if he is available. That would give us one nasty o-line. But I am also hoping for a receiver so I don't know.
