What the Bears Forum is saying....

Cutler has an arm, that's about it. It's not overly accurate, sometimes awfully inaccurate, and he has terrible decision making, especially when pressured. If we get pressure on him early he will make mistakes the rest of the game. Let CJ and Hardy get some good shots on him and this game could easily turn in our favor quickly.

haha..you soooooo funny! :)

I'm not the one who refused to merge your other thread "just so people can point and laugh at you"

It's time for Steve Smith to reclaim his ownership of Soldier Field.

Caught a little Chicago sports radio after that 2005 game. Monogo McMichael came off as epically dumb discussing what happened and calling for the heads of pretty much everyone associated with the organization.

He would have looked much more accurate in a Bears uniform if he had honest to goodness professional wide receivers running professional receiver routes.

It is clear to anyone, knowing about the Martz system, that you throw to an area, and MANY times Hester and Knox simply are not where they are supposed to be.

Devin really has no clue what he is doing.

I wasn't impressed with what I saw from the Bears on either offense or defense when they played GB. They're more stout up front on the DL, like everyone else, but nothing scary there.

They allowed 100 yards rushing to a team that doesn't rush all that often, so hopefully we can run well enough to keep the D honest.\

Cutler is easily one of the most overrated QB's in the league and he still has vitually no one to throw to. Roy Williams is garbage, but they do have raw speed outside of him.

I do think this is a winnable game, but it'll be a very hostille environment with a Bears team that has to win to keep up with Detroit and GB.

    • I'd love to have Eli as our QB. He was a proven baller in the playoffs, and still a legit franchise QB who was better than the majority of the league in the regular season. Honestly the Giants didn't build many great teams around him. Put him in a beneficial situation like Belichick, Reid, Tomlin, etc. run and he could've won more than 2 SBs if you ask me. He was on a lot of bad teams, like really bad teams, throughout his career.   Hell, swap him in for Rivers in the mid-late aughts and I bet he gets the Chargers a SB. Still think that whole draft situation was bullshit and lost respect for Eli there, but whatever.
    • Yeah but if you are talking about something like an extremely rarely used or needed play like a QB sneak, it's already a pretty off the rails argument. That doesn't factor in enough to W's and L's to be something that is particularly relevant.  If you want to talk overall arm strength, field vision, footwork, consistency, athleticism, etc on Bryce, those are all valid critiques of his game and why he hasn't been successful. But the oddball obsessions about pretty meaningless aspects are a bit bizarre. QB sneaks? Not enough 40+ yard passes? Workout regimen?? Guys....there is ample stuff to criticize without this kind of nonsense.
    • Im not saying he should, but its one more play that's off the table. Do you think the eagles would be as good without the QB sneak?
