we have had this discussion before. A player can choose the team. Marcus Allen was a Raider forever but is in the HOF as a Chief.

Not true,

Hall of Famers who made the major part of their primary contribution for any one club are listed in bold. In cases where a player contributed about equally and/or in a major way to two or more clubs – he is listed in bold under both clubs (ie. Gary Zimmerman is listed with both the Vikings and the Broncos as his primary teams). Hall of Famers who spent only a minor portion of their career with any club are listed under that club in normal font.

I believe this was the sollution to the Marcus Allen bitchfest.

So Sam Mills would not be considered a true Hall of Fame Panther for us if he ever made it? Right?

If Sam Mills only played football and football were his only ties......he would be considered a Saint IMO. What Mills do in and out of a uniform made him a Panther/Saint.

Damn, this is all news to me. I didn't even know guys went into the hall as a certain teams player. I know it's a big deal in baseball because their bust has the cap of their main team, but I didn't know they went in under a certain banner. Thanks for the knowledge drop.

Davis might have played for the Redskins for a long time but he was always meant to be a Panther. He was the first Panther RB to show Panther RB's what it mean to be a RB.

We got him at the end of his prime but I do believe he had his best season with us. If Davis' had his choice he would be a Panther.
