Peppers regretting leaving?

carolina was trying to make him the highest paid defensive player in the league (atleast that was one story).

How much fuging money do you need? At some point, these contracts just get disgusting, but thats a whole 'nother story. Not getting into on here.

Who gets to decide how much money is enough?

Threads like this never go well.

Peppers has left. He had his reasons.

He is gone. He isn't sitting anywhere thinking, "gee willikurs, if i was still a panther, cam would be my qb."

Move on already.

Peppers has moved on.

And yes, he's still one of the best in the game.

EDIT: Glad to see the homophobs couldn't keep their hands to themselves. Way to stay classy guys.

How come when someone dislikes gays it automatically means they must be gay? I've never understood that? I'm not trying to fuel the fire to this discussion, just curious?

When someone says they don't like illegal immigrants, no one says it's because they really wish they were one.

When someone says they hate liberals, nobody says it's because deep down, they wish they were a bleeding heart.

But everytime someone says they don't like gay people, the first thing that comes back is you must be teh inner-ghey.

Peculiar.

Ive heard this actually wasn't the case, from a friend who knows quite a few players in the organization, apparently we didn't really offer him anything. Take it for what you will, but everything is an assumption.

Ah, I thought Peppers said something, but this is just speculation. Does he regret leaving Carolina? Could be, now that Fox has left. It seems many of our current players are now coming out against Fox's philosophy late in his tenure here. So it could be Peppers wanted a new coach to play for. Had we fired Fox earlier, he may still be a panther today. Who knows, maybe if Peppers become a free agent late in his career, he will come back home.

Hes not coming back. why do we care? Why did I open this thread?

I guess they could just be bigots

He probably regretted it after seeing how good Cam Newton is, and what he did for Steve Smith's career. Chicago's defense is old, Cutler gets sacked a lot and the Bears won't be good much longer. Maybe if he tries to mend some fences, we'll take him back for the twilight of his career like Moose.

    • Tools. If I hear that term used one more time I'm going to lose my damn mind.  "Tools" are meaningless if they cannot use them already. Stop looking for "tools" and find productive football players. Stop looking for combine freaks and look for guys that have produced at a high level already. Tools my ass.
