MNF changes for '12

I may be in the minority here, but I like Gruden on MNF.

I like Jaws and Tirico too, but, while annoyingly positive at times, Gruden is the most informed in-game analyst football has seen in a long time.

For me, at least, MNF has been infinitely more enjoyable since Ol' Chucky has joined the staff.

I liked the checks and balances personally. Jaws would check Gruden necessary and vice-versa. Still prefer the 2 man booth, don't think I'd like either alone w/ Tirico, but we'll see. I HATE the QB slobbering.

I think this was a ploy to keep him out of the NFL (that probably won't work if the right job comes along). i think Trent Dilfer would work best in the role.

    • yea....Minnesota fell off the map this year after going 14-3 with Darnold...bet they wish he was back... and his record looks good this year...maybe he figured it out.... he does get the tight azz in big games still.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
