Decent headphones/earbuds for the money.

I need some new ones, and have absolutely no idea where to start.

Not trying to drop a ton of cash on them, but would like something that does not fall out of my ears when running either.

I got a pair of Sony MDR-ED12 over a year ago for less than $10 and they've done pretty well. Nothing special but they fit my ears well and sound a lot better than those free ones with the ipod

I much prefer headphones though and if you decide you want to drop a little extra money, you can't go wrong with Seinheiser

I have two pairs, one set for occassional use.

I got some Dre Beats earbuds with my HTC Rezound and they sound awesome... I hate wires though so I bought some Jaybird Freedom Bluetooth earbuds that I wear whilst working out and I love them.

i got the sony mdr-xd100. Really good headphones and feels comfortable over my ears.

I'm an audio engineer and I've used many different kinds of headphones.

My recommendation is, if your budget is on the cheap, to get something by Sony. I've had good experiences with their headphones from the cheap to the expensive kind. I'm not a fan of earbuds because they are more damaging to your hearing than regular closed-back headphones. But since you want them for running...earbuds might be the way to go.

Skull candy is a good product. So is panasonic. Bought both of mine for less than $20 dollars. Still have one, the other was a casualty to a then chewy puppy..

I use klipsch... But if you want cheap and good go with sony. Otherwise, you get what you pay for.

My friend used to use Sony but I let him borrow my UrbanEars and he ended up and getting some himself.

I used to listen to music while running, but I gave it up. I'm not sure why but I seem to run better without the music. Less distraction, maybe?

i have a pair of grado sr60i headphones. they are ugly as fug but they sound amazing. but you need to buy an amplifier so the total cost ends up being 20 dollars higher. They sound amazing. It will raise the hair on the back of your neck.

but they would be horrible for running. I've tried and I looked like a hipster douche with my retro electronics not to mention they constantly fell off.

$60 headphones are definitely better than $20 headphones.
