Please excuse me since this is fairly off topic, but I'm having a Youtube fight with some Andy Dalton loving Texans fan. I don't understand how some people can be this dumb.

Let's check that stat line.

Cam: 310/517 for 60% completion, 4051 yards, 21 TD, 17 INT, 84.5 QB rating, 706 rush yards, 14 rush TD. Not to mention the countless records Cam broke.

Dalton: 300/516 for 58% completion, 3398 yards, 20 TD, 13 INT, 80.4 QB rating, 152 rush yards, 1 rush TD.

If you honestly believe Dalton had a better season than Newton when looking at the stats, then you are either racist or retarded.

The Niners went 13-3 last season. Does that make Alex Smith as good as Tom Brady, and better than Brees, Rivers, Roethlisberger, and your man Schaub? Because, according to your logic, Alex Smith is the 2nd best QB in the NFL.

Do you realize how dumb that is? The Panthers were 32nd in offense in 2010, yet were top squad in 2011. Cam was basically the only new offensive player. That alone tells you something.

When you have a good QB people OUTSIDE of the Panther fan base will begin to throw barbs of vitriol.

Andy Dalton only won more games because the Bengals had a much much better defense last season. Its still a fact that will never change.

DEFENSE wins games and championships. Without a good defense, it does not matter how many points you put up.
