Yes.

Just kidding...no. The 3 picks ahead of us don't need a DT so if he gets by the Jets we are probably good. Titans could snap him up but they have lots of needs. I fit were a matter of trading up 2 spots we might do it but if we have to trade up to 8 its useless.

The middle of the first is chock full of talent and there is nobody we need to reach for realistically.

We just can't afford to. If all we needed was a DT, then sure, go for it. But we have so many needs, already only have 5 picks, we need to stay put or trade down for more. Can't take a risk on a hit or miss position that takes a long time to develop like DT.

Maybe i'm in the minority. I absolutely think we shouldn't trade any of this seasons picks. But i'm all for dealing a two next year. Were talking about an elite talent who prob would have been the number one pick if not for the heart scare. Elite talents don't grow on trees. I see him in the mold of Ngata of the ravens.

It's hard to say. If we don't, we could be aiding our divisional rival in amping their defense. Sure, he could bust but if Star is legit, then our OL has no shot in defending Newton this upcoming season. Our OL did a horrid job against them for some reason.

Great idea, let's improve the offensive line by drafting a defensive lineman and giving up picks in the process. It's genius.

      I'm used to people crapping on the panthers in public spaces. I used to have to defend Cam fugging Newton until I was blue. I come here to talk Panthers and it is literally the same 5 posters you see in this very thread saying the same things, every single day. it's not about having tough skin, it's the constant negativity by the same people. its boring, its annoying, it clogs discussions. this place has really changed and I regret signing back in. I only have like 5 mins a day to spend consuming panthers content and its always the same posters and same crap. we used to have a 6'6 gunslinging battery ram, and he would constantly get dragged through the mud for not being enough, or doing this or that or not diving on a fumble. at the end of the day, it's a people problem. people love to bitch and complain. they'll never be content, they'll never just sit back and root the team on. we had one of the best teams in the NFL on the ropes to move onto the next round of the playoffs while the stadium was alive and well and that wasn't even enough to just enjoy the show.

      Anybody else see that the panthers have the fewest miles travelled of any team this year? Don’t know it matters too much but it can’t hurt 🤷‍♂️
