TV Question about the 1995 Season

Bare with me I was 10 years old in 1995. All this Redskins in our market talk got me thinking....Didn't they play other team's games in our market in 1995? I vaguely remember looking for Panther games on the tube and not being able to find them. I was just curious if I was just a dumb 10 year old or if there is some history to that. Thanks.

in 1995, you should've been able to get all the Panther games. Only reason I can think of you not getting them is where you live and the tv market hadn't expanded that far yet.

I'm only 2 years older than you and I don't remember anything other than panthers games. Now just like now the regional 4 o clock game would be either Wash Dallas or Atl. Like I said I'm not that much older so my memory is a bit faded.

I was 21 in '95, workin on a tugboat that was going from Myrtle Beach to Norfolk up the Intercoastal Waterway in week 3 on the inaugural season. I watched the Panthers lose to the Rams, divisional back then, and was hooked. Don't know where you live but they showed the game on the Eastern coast of NC then....

Panthers were definitely the team on tv in 95 where I was, but that was Charlotte...

I was in Charlotte and I remember all the home games at Clemson being blacked out except the niners game because they didn't sell out. I remember listening to those on the radio.

Yep, every home game but one was blacked out in 95

In 95, all the home games were blacked out as they were played in Clemson. The away games were televised.

That is exactly what I remember. Listening to the games on the radio because they were not on TV.

I think I still have most, if not all, of 1995's season on VHS somewhere.
