I'm concerned at how bad the Eagles looked last week versus this week. It does seen like there was some game planning involved for them

 

The Eagles defense looked bad...but their offense put it to the Patriots.  They put up 450 yards, alot of which came against 1st stringers.  And the Pats defense is supposed to be a pretty decent unit.

Hahahhahha idiot. They drove EASILY down the field on us 4 out of 5 drives and crossed the 50 on the other. We just went 3 and out vs their second unit. No one gives a damn about the score. We look like poo.

Keep watching and u'll understand football one day

Seems like a lot of your are beginning to sugar coat this. It was just a bad performance by our D for one reason and one reason only, gameplan.

I'm disappointed since I just bought tickets for a game which I was really excited about. Spent too much money two years ago to watch us lose.

Not completely true. Our strength is our DL....and a DL gets neutralized by an O like this. They aren't gonna sit back and let a DL dominate a game.

Also, if your OL can't block for the run game.....your offense will either be inconstant or forced to abandon the run. We did both those last year.

This game simply shows where we lack talent....

      I think his stats will depend on the development of the rookies and sophomore receivers, which isn't totally under is control. The eye test is a different story. Has to consistently look the part before you decide to pay him Purdy money.

      Interestingly I think we have kind of of gone through this as an organization. Richardson implemented an FO driven tank. Bad roster, no cash spent, coach uninterested. It may have been for different reasons but I think the results were the same. A team that wasn't going to win many if any games. We ended up with the #1 pick. Cam Newton came in and changed the franchise. It worked, but Cam himself pointed to the losing culture in the locker room needing to be changed. It probably took about 2-3 years for that to happen. Tank worked pretty damn well for us. Cam is one of one. Not another like him, everyone can't deliver on his draft status AND change a culture basically on his own.  So as an exercise here are the last 30 #1 picks. If you tanked and got to pick #1 how many of these guys do you think were worth it? Not just good players, but franchise changers. Guys who will take your culture and shift it so the tank was actually worth it.
