That was Roman Harper wasn't. Sharper was probably the biggest reason they made the Superbowl outside Brees....he was a video game player with all his huge INTs. He was legit.

He's right about the identity of the Panthers.  First it was the read-option, now it's the power run game.  On defense, they're just trying to see what sticks in the secondary.  Put together some good but injury prone linebackers (outside of Kuechly, so far in his career).  Defensive line is good, lot of talent there.  But it's all gotta come together.  I agree about the identity part.  You knew what John Fox's teams were going to be.  Rivera has been more of a mystery.

I don't think he understands it will take more than one person to take Smitty out of the game. Plus now we have olsen, lafell, backs comin out the backfield. Also, Gettis and AE are looking to contribute. Maybe even Brandon Williams. Shutting down smitty will take two.

This topic is a simple debate. Do you analyze by looking to the past or looking to the future. If you look at the past you would say we were a confused 13 year old boy. If you look at the moves Gettleman and Shula are making right now and what they will mean in the future then you can say we are heading in the right direction. Pretty much everyone that cashed in before the 2011 season has taken a paycut. Including those billion dollar running backs. The one guy that kept his money was CJ, a star pass rusher with 9 forced fumbles.

He is right about our WR corps. Lafell would be a number three WR on average teams. Put Lafell on a team like the 9ers or the Packers and he would be lucky to be a 4th or 5th receiver.

The point he makes about he makes about if you can stop Steve Smith can Cam find open guys is the aspect of our offense that worries  me the most. It calls into question are our other receivers that bad or is Cams progression still not where it should be or both? I would be curious to get the opinion of some serious Huddlers that have a clue.
