It is amazing how good an offense will look with a solid offensive line. If we can upgrade the line with 2-3 pickups, Cam and our RBs will look tons better.

A G was drafted top 5. That shows you how much talent was avalible in FA this year. We are in trouble with this line for a few years down the road.

Offense sucks balls top-down. I don't like shula's playcalling, our oline can't protect poo and our WRs dropping passes. And the elephant in the room Ace Boogie himsef when he has time back there; his decision making, not making easy throws, missing wide open guys, accuracy, pocket presence or lack there of....wtf is goin on Shula. We need to clean that up or we're gonna be the bucaneers of the late 90s.

Great news is who needs an offense with a D like that man! If our D keeps playing like that, we can make the playoffs with a crap offense. Our defense will fugg people up this year. I've already put Luke in canton :)

His decision making tonight was pretty decent. No ints in the last two games since the first preseason game. He just missed on a few throws and his wr dropped critical passes as well as miscommunication issues. I think those issues can be cleaned up.

We have likely the worst offensive line in the league right now.....it's obviously going to affect the execution of the offense as a whole. I have questions about Shula as everyone does but we don't even know exactly what they are trying to do because they haven't shown us yet.

Our Oline is who we thought they were going to be. Well, actually a bit worse. Lead feet, missed assignments and no push whatsoever.

Cam is still inaccurate about half the time, whether he has time or not. Worst moment for me was when after a qtr and a half of the offense sucking, he is concerned that he strikes his first down pose. Meanwhile, in the real game, just a few feet behind him, Steve Smith is in a fight over the late hit on him. He has mentors trying to get his head in the game, but still he finds for "cam". Come on man

Lefell gonna have to hand catch and not let it into his body.

Play calling was pretty horrific. Obviously if we were executing anything well, we would not mention playcalling, but try a dump off to a RB every now and then to slow down the rush, my goodness.

Except for the first drive, the D and ST get the day off from my ire. Keek had a great debut on national TV an so did Star. Good to see Beason back on the field. DB's not pressing, hopefuly it is not because they don't have that ability.

You can't replace 60% of the offensive line and expect results within a month. By the time they even start to gel, it will be November.

    • It's not impossible to go from worst to first.  We kept Evero because anyone in there right mind knew our defense was destroyed by injuries, not the scheme.  Evero has been given a plethora of talent between free agency and the draft, not to mention getting DB back. I fully expect our defense to be very good.  I have no reason to think Jones would say something like that unless he truly felt like that.
    • We would’ve played Florida and lost in the 1st instead of the 3rd round.  Montreal would have been the 8 seed.
    • I can't get behind a purely subjective re-draft as a method of defining "top-10 QB" status. That invites bias based on vibes/hypotheticals and can ignore actual on-field performance. You and others have said that Bryce has to be a top-10 QB to justify the pick. That's a high bar, which I'm not against, but we need a clear, consistent way to measure it. When I bring up metrics that Bryce has registered in the top-10 in like BTT%, P2S ratio, catchable deep ball rate, etc... they're waved off as either irrelevant or the expected baseline performance. Meanwhile, volume stats like passing yards or win-loss records, both of which depend heavily on roster talent, health, and coaching, are treated as definitive. That's where the inconsistency kicks in. If no performance metric ever counts in his favor and the answer is always going to be "he should be doing that," then we're not evaluating him... we're just holding him to a curve he can't win against. If this is really about performance standards, then let's define them. But if it's just about confirming prior takes based on height and weight, then let's call it what is it and stop pretending that this is a football analysis discussion.
