Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

hated the pick

loved him as soon as he took the field though and made it known

blasted him in the opener last season when he looked like poo

apologized for him over and over till today.  especially all last week.  Not anymore.

like him as an athlete and as a guy I guess.  I obviously do not know the guy.  But I hate him for making me believe he is something he is not on the field.

No secret.  I just wonder why so many people are so attached.  I wondered the exact same thing about Jake and defended Julius Peppers to the teeth.

How does any of this label me a racist?

...glad you have an opinon...regardless...we're 0-2 with a 12% chance of getting to the playoffs, thats a fact..And let me remind you, Cam's accuracy is a problem, thats a fact too. Sharp QB's get the job done...fact. watch how things unfold... I'll say this, if we had a legit number 2 receiver things might be a little different for Cam..

Because Brady looked great against the bills

none of that was said or implied by me

its clear now

you can't read

please direct us to where I said Eli was not smart enough to play QB and Cam speaks too urban

you can't

we will just keep believing your rambling bullshits

says Cam doesn't talk well enough for him, must not be intelligent enough to play at this level (this is his sole support of his argument) ---> says Eli is terrible speaker, even claims he's worst in the league.... but somehow isn't too dumb to play in league?

So you either have an apparently racially charged double standard or really are that dumb. Which one is it?

I used to be called a Cam hugger, I said he could be the problem last week and got flamed for it...damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of deal. After today, I do feel that Cam is the problem. I also feel that this franchise may be "trapped" with Cam. I would be a fiasco if we started DA and he sucked and we put Cam back in..a fuging fiasco, Jerry can't have that so this is the sinking ship and I think Cam is the iceberg. I know that Bell was beat like a drum today, but Cam was patting the ball in the pocket, when he was hit not in his drop...his internal clock is fuged, this is the NFL you can't hold the ball all day, Manuel didn't...Cam missed Ted Ginn and 89 multiple times today with 10 yard overthrows. He also threw a WR screen to Armanti several feet too high...Cam does not walk on water, in the pocket, he looks like he can barely walk, the electric plays as an athlete may have won him over with the most of you. For me his unreliability as a QB have myself and maybe some of his team members conceeding that a punt is forgone conclusion when the offense is faced with 3rd and 5+

Well, I have finally seen the day where a guy that has completed 61% of his passes, has 3 TDs and 1 INT,  and had us in a position to win both games, is the problem .

We have officially entered the "unless our QB is Peyton Manning he is the problem" territory

He was given the ball two times inside of the 40 yard line and came away with 6 points. Like it or not, that is the reality. Like it or not, Cam could've hit Ted Ginn multiple times for giant gains and failed to make a decent throw.

so still no racist comment

got it

on to the rest of your rambling... NOT my only support of my argument.  Try to keep up.  Stop embarrassing yourself.  And did say Eli is a terrible speaker....He is.  but stated he  does not have the pocket issues Cam has.  Fortunate for him.  Not for us

Is this your first time.  I don't think you are very good at this.  I'm being called dumb and racist yet you are the one sho cannot support he racist claim or keep up with the dialogue.  What does that make you?

I really would like an answer.  Not expecting one however.  You've been a huge disappointment.  Started off real strong but your fading in the end here.

Ill take Johnny Football Over Cam Newton Anyday.  Hopefully he and rivera are both gone before the years over.   Cam is not as good as people think. That has started to become more and more clear. Sheer luck and atheletic ability took him this far, but football talent and leadership ability is negligible at best.

Ahaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Wait... what?

You weren't joking?

DAMN, son...

    • In my opinion Fitterer was probably right about not paying McCaffrey. Now not wanting to "pay RBs" in my opinion isn't something you want to set in stone, to me it all comes down to the individual.
    • Maybe I'm just not understanding, but everywhere that I have read says that signing bonuses go against the cap prorated by as much as five years. The following example uses Andrew Luck's rookie contract as an example. "Take Andrew Luck, the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Luck signed a four-year contract with the Colts worth $22.1 million and included a $14.5 million signing bonus. Rather than a $14.5 million cap hit in 2012, the Colts spread out his signing bonus over the life of his contract. The hit against the cap would be $3.625 million per year over four years instead of a direct cap hit of $14.5 million directly in 2012. This gave the Colts more leverage and cap flexibility in signing other players." https://www.the33rdteam.com/nfl-signing-bonuses-explained/ I don't know why some of you think that signing bonuses aren't counted against the cap over the length of the contract, but whatever.   "The bonus with a signing is usually the most garish aspect of a rookie contract. Bonus is the immediate cash players receive when they ink a deal. It factors into the cap, but only for the whole contract duration, in terms of salary cap calculations. In the case of Bryce Young’s $24.6 million signing bonus, that’s prorated to approximately $6.15 million per season over a four-year deal. This format allows teams to handle the cap and provides rookies with some short-term fiscal stability, which is important given the high injury risk in this league." https://collegefootballnetwork.com/how-rookie-contracts-work-in-the-nfl/ I understand how signing bonuses can be a useful tool in order to manage the cap, and as one of the article suggests, signing bonuses may become important if you have a tight cap, but the bill is always going to come due. I'm not necessarily referring to you Tuka, but it seems to me that others simply don't want to understand that fact which is why they're reacting to what I'm saying negatively. How odd. In any event, I have a better general understanding of why signing bonuses are used now, and it's generally to fit salaries under the cap. Surely players, whether they be rookies or not, love a signing bonus because they get a good portion of their money up front. This in turn gives them more security and probably amounts to tax benefits as well. I also understand why teams would not want to use signing bonuses, particularly for players or draftees who have a higher probability of being gone before a contract even ends.
