White getting some pff love

His(White's) on field awareness, read and reaction was great. He is aggressive and will get burnt a few times. i like the guy and already expect the coaching staff to feel more confidence in him than Norman.

Great to see him get some notice as he was a highlight along with the suprising Lester who was really active.

He had the best cb performance I have witnessed from a Panther in 4 years...including Gamble, who I know QBs threw away from..but never really saw him make a play that Chris Harris didnt create with a fumble.

Also I do not think it is a coincidence that our secondary was stable without Godfrey biting on every run fake and play action. Godfrey's injury may be a blessing in disguise as Godfrey has been the one constant in blown coverages and poor reaction to seemingly the simplist pass plays.

Not one incident CBs and safties pointing at each other in anger.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
