Beason traded?

I might get flamed for this, but IMO this is an overreaction. As cold as it is, football is a business. You're torching Gettleman for doing the opposite of what Hurney did. Hurney was too loyal, now Gettleman isn't loyal enough.

Can't have it both ways.

Personally I want him traded just not for a 6th or 7th....I'd rather be the team pilfering other desperate teams....which the Giants are by their own admission.

Not a bad deal Panther fans.  What else could you get for Beason? Relax

I'm sure many of you, were the same people killing him the past two years, saying he needed to go (along with Hurney Loyalty, cash mis-management).

Now that Beason's gone, and Panthers open up another roster spot, summa ya'll wanna criticize.

SMH

Yea, Beason deserved better in Panther fans eyes. However, it's a business (as it's been said). So what could you do?

I wouldn't be mad if we traded Beason to another team for a low pick, but the fuggn Giants? Gman doing business with his former team. That's what pisses me off. Bad business.

NY needed a lb that bad, make them give up Nicks!

can you get off that train? it's a stupid train. it's coming off the stupid tracks that it was never quite on to begin with and it's going to burst into a stupid ball of stupid fire and take everyone down with it.

Ironic that the Giants don't resign Chase Blackburn who we then sign, who ends up beating Beason out of his job, then the Giants go ahead and trade for Beason who lost his job to the former Giant.

hilarious

sounds like the kind of trickeration that teams pulled on hurney and snickered about

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
