Doug Martin left today's game with a shoulder injury and Dashon Goldson with a knee injury.

Mike Glennon loves going to VJax, I really hope we don't let Josh Thomas start on Jackson. I would love to see Melvin get a shot at Jackson first.

What are you thoughts on who covers Jackson?

Tampa swept us last year, quick turn around game on the road. This is a big one and I'm excited for Thursday.

Jackson has James Dockery or Melvin White written all over him. JT couldn't cover a garbage can.

Yeah I've seen enough of Thomas and I was rooting for him to get 1 of the 2 starting spots this year. Got bailed out on that tripping call and I believe it was Pettis who should of had a TD but couldn't get his second foot down.

VJax is the only guy I'm scared of when it comes to Thursday night game. Glennon might not have won any games as a start yet. But the guy a cannon of an arm and is accrute.  So don't count the Bucs out so soon. I want us to win. But you know how the Panthers and Bucs games have gone over the years. They end up been close and comes down to has the ball last. So it will be a tough game.

This game stinks. I've never been more worried about a let down game

I am worried because it's a very short turnaround. No one plays good in these Thursday night games. I wish the nfl would get rid of them, but they probably bring in a ton of money.

    • Yeah they were bad QBs - but QB's that stayed on their teams for several years.  BY is better than all of those.
    • This is the right move even if you think Bryce isn't the future. Everything except signing him to a long term deal until proven otherwise. There's a decent chance we have a shot to draft a QB next year that we like.
    • If we're still bad enough that Canales gets fired, especially if it's during the season, there is no way we could ever attract any HC worthy of the job if we told them they had to keep Bryce their first year. That would be 2 coaches he's gotten fired and 4 years of not performing up to par. I still say replace both of them next offseason.  I like Canales the man and I think he's done an absolutely outstanding job at fixing our locker room issues, as it was really bad before he showed up.  But I just don't see it from him with his in game decision making, I think he's held us back just as much as Bryce has, just in different ways. Canales was our Dan Campbell, the coach you hire to turn the franchises culture around for the HC after them to inherit and take to the next level.   The difference was he had some elite coordinators early on and really let him focus on his "leader of men" role as opposed to the X's and O's that Canales does himself and it's turned out well for him.
