I want him. The scheme in Philly ruined his career. One of the best around in man coverage (use him for that only).

If we allowed him to only play man, the offense may use that to their advantage by routing the WR he's covering into the zone coverage, causing confusion. In addition, he will want to much money and we have to deal with contracts to keep our current players, like: Cam, Hardy and Ginn.

At this point in his career, he should excel in zone cause his physical ability isn't what it used to be to play man. That's what confusing to me

What I read from Bay area article is that he is still pretty good in man coverage but cant tackle for poo. He was supposed to be their 3rd corner but slipped below a few more guys and hasnt been active the past 3 games. His prime was 5 years ago.

No way would I want Nnamdi. He would mess up the chemistry of our DB's more than he would help.

What happened to him?

went to philly where they used him as a zone CB exclusively. Also changed his side of the field. Also he turned 31. 

 

I'd be very interested if the Panthers would stick him back on the left side like the Raiders did during his prime.
