Looking at NE. How will we fare against Brady if the front can't get any pressure?

"In his previous 11 seasons as the Patriots’ starter, Brady never had a completion rate lower than 60 percent and never had a passer rating lower than 85. This year Brady’s completion rate is 55.4 percent and his passer rating is 75.3. He’s also on pace to be sacked 46 times this season, which would top his previous high of 41 in his first year as the Patriots’ starter."

From PFT a couple weeks ago, and that was before they lost their starting RT Vollmer.

I respect the pats but I don't fear them if the Saints Defense could get pressure on him I know our Defense can't and we don't blitz as much as they do. I think we will let our front four do the most work with trying to get to him. And I said it before in another game I don't see our Offense playing like that again the 49ers Defense is not an easy team to score points on.

If Brady has all day they will score a lot of points. Brady hates getting hit however so we need to smack him around a little bit. Otherwise he will be completely content to dink and dunk his way down the field all night.

When we start hitting Brady I will almost guarantee the flags will be flying. We'll be playing at home so hopefully the refs. give us a little slack (but I'm not going to be expecting it).

Thought that was San Frans

Kap- Sacked 15 times going into yesterday

Brady- Sacked 26 times

We got Kap SIX times yesterday.

Guess they jumped them after we Wrecked Kaepernick

Brady doesn't have the WR's they have had in the past.  Got have the guys open on those 3 step drops.

Our Front 4 Monstars INC is better at getting pressure than any DL in the League.  And Luke/Davis are more than capable of guarding the TE etc on these short dumps

Arguably best O-Line in the league. Will be a challenge for sure.

The #Panthers held #Niners to FOUR total yards in the 4th quarter. That's the best defense in the sport.

the 3 step drop is the key to the original West Coast offense. that and the dink and dunks is to offset the speed rush. so now a few things come into play.

i expect a handful of zone blitzes are sprinkled in. we saw it yesterday on a delayed safety blitz. it was called at the right time.

this will make Tommy Boy have to think more to the outside which is where Squank is NOT at it. He likes to roam the middle and pull a db away from the slot or the deep sidelines.

on offense, we have to have some C-Span boringly long drives and chew up a ton of clock. a special team or def td wouldn't hurt either.

im making my prediction right here. Panthers 27-Pats 20

    • Umm yeah. When did he get it done at the right time? I seem to remember a 4-6 finish and needing Atlanta to win our way into the playoffs but whatever.
    • I mean....no lies detected. See above. We have traded a fortune to draft a guy #1 overall that people have lowered standards for to the point that not playing like Jimmy Clausen and looking like a poor man's Kyle Allen occasionally is worthy of a contract extension making him one of the highest paid QB's in the league. That is cope on steroids.
    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
