So what part of we are going to have to double Wallace does McDermott not understand.  These balls are underthrown and would be picked off if we had a defender within 5 yards of Wallace.

Not if the NFL refs follow their own rules.

A receiver has to maintain possession of the ball THROUGH the process of hitting the ground.

I've seen "catches" called incompletions using that rule time and again.

Now will they overturn it? Not so sure.

BUT THEY SHOULD.
