this team the best in Panthers history?

Just wondering what you guys think... looking at the amount of talent this team has on defense and how the offense now has more than just Steve Smith, I have to say yes. Probably won't be considered better than the SB team unless we win it....

The SB team was a team of destiny not necessarily the best or most talented. I say this team may be the best balance of talent, skill, veteran leadership and intangibles we have every had.

best defense, but I don't really know if I'd say the best team.  2005, hell even 2008's offenses "felt" better at the time, but I think this is the most dangerous team we've had because I think this offense could erupt against anyone.

The 2005 offense was better....and the 2003 defense might have been better.

 

But as a whole...yes.

With our offensive line the way it is I can't think so.

 

 

 

I think the 03 team would probably beat us, if not beat us badly. Young Peppers would be athletic enough to contain Cam. 03 WR core was better, and the 03 defense may not have been as good but they were close enough.

 

If we had an o-line that could run block I'd say yes, otherwise no.

 

 

If we had Cam in 2008 we would have been unbeatable.

2003 is easily better.  Not sure about 96 offense, but the defense was better then too.
