Browns To Fire Chudzinski [edit: he got dumped]

I have no love for the guy, and I don't want to see him as our OC, but I think this is a dumb move by the Browns. That franchise is so dysfunctional. They waste draft picks and they trade away decent talent. If I was a player I'd catch the first ride out of there as well. You can't expect a rookie HC to come in shine all their s*** in one year. Look what we would have missed out on if our front office would have listened to the fans at the beginning of the season...

Looking at the Brown's board, most of the fans seem to think it's a bad move.

I hate it for Chud.  This was his shot, he had it in his hometown, with little talent and they tried to trade half of that away.  Had a good staff.

It's gonna be tough to deal with having been fired from his hometown team (twice as a coordinator, and then now) three times.

Chud was Chud.  It was easy to be free wheeling, nutty with the playbook when the defense wouldn't do anything either.  Now, with a good defense and all of that, playing field position and being good on 3rd down matters more, and that's what this O does better now.  It could be a better run team, and in some form Chud was better at that (mostly because of wonky broken runs, not because he ever seemed to care about the run or consistently used it), and it was certainly better at the big play, which we could use now.  But when Shula dialed a couple of those 2nd and long bombs today, I remembered part of why Chud's O had big plays - it just had reps at it.  Chud was a chucker.  I want this team to come up with big plays on O, but man I don't want to waste a bunch of drives and have bad field position hoping to knock in one pass.
