They do need to be reprimanded for the things they missed. I believe they came in with the mindset to be aware of acts by Carolina. But the Vernon Davis TD was being bobbled until he was able to switch hands and by that time his foot was out.

If the Davis TD stood, there is no way the fumble at Candlestick should've been overturned.

Not to mention the 12 men in the huddle before that play and Harbaugh standing on the field during it. There were at least 2 reasons that play shouldn't have happened.

Yeah, Goodell has ruined this league. I gotta believe that the NFL pushes storylines in the post season. Simple as that. It started back with the Saints after Katrina. Think about EVERY super bowl since then and the HUGE storylines for the teams involved. Seriously. Think about it.
