Do we have the pieces in place to have back-to-back winning seasons for the first time ever?

I think we absolutely do. We have a lot of guys on 1 year deals, but almost all of them are interchangeable with free agents or lower round draft picks. Cam, Kuechly, Star....damn great nucleus. I hope we resign Kraken even if he didn't play well today.

 

If Gettleman can find another rookie in the vein of the last 3 first rounders we've picked, 2014 has the potential to be even better than 2013. Hoping we draft a receiver high and stay completely away from defense in the first 2 rounds.

 

Keep your head up Panthers fans. In 2008-09, our window was closing. In 2014, our window has just started opening. With our core, we're built for sustained success.

This team is carried by the D........The front 7 of the D.  Don't keep that intact.  Your throwing a young QB into a gunfight with a water gun, with the weapons Cam has.

 

We keep the the front 7 intact we stay the same, we do that and fix the WR's and DB's we improve.

I think we do.  If we can keep as much of the D together as possible and get some effective upgrades on offense this off season, there's no reason we can't back to back winning seasons.  This loss stings a lot, but I agree we are on the way up.  Felt totally different after the 2008 loss.

21 of our pieces are up for grabs and I think  7 of those should be gone or get the league minimum.  Expect a completely different team next season.

Still a good number of holes even before free agency. I don't know if they can all effectively be filled with the draft either. I think we overachieved this year but grabbing at least 2 starters in the draft again and the right role players in free agency and we can go back to back.

maybe,maybe not. falcons will be back, tampa will improve, saints will still be good, but Brees is starting his decline. as for the other NFC divisions (for the wildcard), rodgers will probably play a full season, and the NFCW will be good as fug.

We are what we are. We are transitioning out of the Hurney era. We have holes. I think we have a good core coaches and players. I believe the G will do what it takes to get the holes filled and we have already changed the culture. So yes. I have been saying it all year. This team is going to be a force for years.
