I never imagined the day i would hear the reason to keep a receiver around would be because he is "great blocker"..... we clearly look a things a whole lot different from other NFL teams.

The crazy thing is he has been doin that since his rookie year. I am surprised it went unnoticed this long.

I've really lost any love for Lafell this year, Seen too many WR's like him in my time watching the Panthers, it's time to move on, we really need some help at WR bad

He's an important player for us if the price is right. Even if we draft a WR, most guys take time. Not everyone is ready to star as a rookie.

Of course you tender him and keep him and pay him as a third receiver which is what he is.  You just don't pay him or sign him as a first or second or offer a long term contract at this point..

Let him go.  If we want a new WR corps, you can't have guys you don't trust hogging roster spots.  We'll bring Ginn back, let Hixon and Lafell walk, and fill those 2 spots with either 2 rookie WR's, or 1 rookie WR and 1 promising young FA WR.
