RE-SIGN MITCHELL!

 

We need that passionate, hard-hitting, Safety in our backfield. All great defenses have a feared/vocal Safety.

Mitchell should be a top 3 resign, Mikell isn't that much of a sting if Godfrey can come back healthy and restructures i can almost guarantee you it will be him and Mitchell starting but still bring Lester alone as well.

 

Mikell although overall solid, lacked plays in the passing game.

 

all the Bs talk about Godfrey, but the guy came to play week in and out.......his contract is pretty bad though

Godfrey will be gone.  I don't think it's even a question.  We could get 3 Godfrey's for what Hurney paid and save like 5.1 by releasing him.  

Agree. I believe he will still count 6mil against the cap but we would save 2mil in cap space.

As a hitter, i could see that, but Mitchell is better in coverage than Harris was.

Lester will continue to grow into a great player. 

 

Good DBs are the hardest to come by.. its rare to have a young guy just slinging dick back there. I think he has a great upside.

 

Pretty sure mitchell will stay.. but im glad godfrey is there just in case... he's not the worst.
