Steve Smith Will Not Be In a Panthers Uniform Next Season

That really gets the blood boiling right there. He got overpaid with that extension like crazy. When your 35 36 37 and your getting paid 7mil 7mil 9mil. That is not signing an extension for the sake of loyality. That is flat out getting overpaid like no other. 

 2 years ago he renegotiated and took much less money so the Panthers could sign other players......he has played lights out the last 3 years even though he only had 800 yards last season...it was a new offense that did not concentrate on the pass....SS has EARNed that money and he is now getting pissed on.  

 

Gettleman just went way down in my book.

I know it's still early in FA and the draft is still a while out, but has there EVER in the history of the NFL been a team, at any date on the calendar, had a bonafide superstar franchise quarterback that had literally no offensive line to block for him or any receivers to throw to?

If @Panthers release Steve Smith and I'm in the NFC South, I sign him immediately. And give him two cracks a year at dishing it cold.

Hope he goes to the Patriots or Broncos and gets his ring....it's worth more than beating the lowly likes of Gettleman....not worth SS's time.
