I like Captain a lot, but we saw with Mitchell how much these former Panther DB's are getting and I think we all know they're not worth big money. Our defense was and is our front 7.

Never completely understood the Captain hate around here. For a seventh round pick we got a bargain for a few years. He made some huge plays for us this season... particularly against the Rams and the Jets. He belonged in the nickel and when there, played well enough on this defense. 

 

There's no hate. Just people that don't want to overpay him and would be fine with him walking because he's really not THAT good.

Let me tell you something you dumb fugs don't realize. You think a team is going to take captain and put him on the outside? No they are going to put him at nickel and he's arguably the best nickel back in the league.

You think a team is going to sign Steve to be their #1? Nope he's going to be in the slot. Can you picture Steve in a Wes Welker role? Dangerous. The players we under appreciate are about to be turned into weapons.
