So in a couple of years everyone is going to play nice and let him retire as a Panther.  This is a bs way of treating the team's greatest player, declining skills or not.  Gettleman is an ass and I'm ready to see him go.  Maybe there is a reason why he was in his 60s and no one wanted him as a GM.

Up until now I've been telling myself this was just some big smokescreen and we'd be surprised with Smitty taking a pay cut to stay with the team... I truly can't believe it.
