Everyone here is supposed to be diehard Panther fans who have a pretty solid understanding of how the league works...  So, I apologize if I don't go up to the local Starbucks and go off on a tangent about how bad our front office is fuging up to people who could give a poo less about our team, or football for that matter.

 

Furthermore, when was the last time I posted this often, and this critically?  It's been awhile...  Mostly when we were losing...  And MOSTLY, I was right about what I was posting.  As I feel I am now.  This sense of complancency within our fanbase disgusts me, especially when accompanied with that smug ass, "well, that's why we're fans and they're execs."  Again, bullshit.  Yes, these guys have spent their entire lives in the game, but that doesn't mean they're devoid of emotion or human error, or even stupidity for that matter.  So with each of these consecutive failures, we have these thoughtless drones come out spewing how it's early and we haven't lost much - completely absolving Gettleman of any present or potential failures, because you know, it's all about Hurney...

 

Every fuging year we have sucked, the same "play it slow and steady" smugness has permeated this forum until it becomes evident to everyone that we were absolutely horrible...  And yet, every year, we have the same people making excuses as to why it wasn't our year and how almost all of the negative things that were going on was the result of us being poor victims.

 

I don't gave a poo if it's whiny man...  I don't understand how anyone can sit here and watch what's going on so far and NOT be angry or outspoken about it.  Our fanbase is full of that smugness until it smacks them right back in the face with another subpar season.  I'm sick of it man.  It's inexcusable.

Has anyone considered the fact that we didn't have a #1 WR in the first place ? The crop of WOs being headlined by Eric Decker and Hakeem Nicks told me we weren't guaranteed to have one even if we signed all of the FA WOs. Sure Nicks has a shot at being a number one, but we look like fools if we over pay he under performs then it makes it even more of a challenge to extend the core player group of Cam, Keen, and Hardy. All of whom are far more important than a guy who failed to find the end zone once all of last season regardless of whatever the excuses are.

DG himself will tell you we aren't in an ideal situation as far as certain position groups are concerned. Doesn't mean you go throwing money around in a desperate panic. I think some fresh jersey numbers on the outside can be just what this team needs. I'm sure we will sign a few vet players OL WO and DBs. None of which will be sexy signings but all guys who the staff thinks can contribute. I bet we improve as a running team and we continue to see Can improve. Especially now that Smith won't be demanding the ball as much and new younger players have a chance to set up and be players

i'm just used to this. 2007-2012 robbed me of expecting greatness.

 

we have no money. we supposedly couldn't let hardy go and had to commit all but a couple million of our cap and we just created a poo ton more dead cap space by letting smith go.

 

hurney was a short sighted f*ck up of a GM who left gettleman a royal cap mess.

 

last year he did well enough for me to have a little faith in him. right now i'm skating by on a waning amount of faith that gettleman can take this bunch of lemons he has (partly by his creation) and see if he can make some lemonade.

 

what we are seeing right now is just typical panthers stuff. we aren't a consistent winner because poo happens. you should be used to it now.

 

i'm just in wait and see mode at the moment. but as for the whining....go right ahead. i'm here to tell you that it doesn't do one bit of good.
