It's called being in college, period. When I was in college I had times when I couldn't pay electric bills or had to eat ramen for a month, and I don't expect anybody to shed a tear for me or the thousands of other kids in the same exact situation bc we live in mother fugging America where, guess what, we're all rich. In the end these athletes come away much better off than most college kids, what with not being in debt the rest of their lives and all that. I'm sick of this 'plight' of the college athlete poo.

I agree that colleges profit from them but they do get a free degree. And as far as I know the are not being held against their will by brut force.

Btw, who do you think will actually pay for these college athletes if this whole thing does end up going that route? It damn sure won't be the universities or the NCAA, it'll be the students who pay them through increased tuition costs. That's just what we need in this country, MORE student loan debt just so these poor oppressed athletes don't have to struggle like the rest of us ;)
