I mean, I haven't read the thread yet, but I'd say that Dan Morgan and company should have flaming hot seats right about now. All that money to second-rate players in order to fool people into thinking we were actually better. Wharton, Brown III, and Moehrig were overpaid. And all of you talking like DB is untouchable, think again. He's about as untouchable as Burns. We fuging suck against the run. Evero's scheme doesn't maximize efficiency against the run. The Evero experiment has produced nothing but bad results.

Yea, I saw that post and had to roll my eyes. We have never been as bad as we are now and during this 7 year no playoff drought. Getting on Panthers fans for not being positive enough is crazy to me. The panthers are lucky that there’s still some interest in the program.

Been saying this for a year now. He's awful. Not sure he could be a starter in the UFL. Only saving grace is we found Coker as an UDFA.

Realistically, this franchise will not do anything for at least 3-4 games at absolute minimum. He is likely there for the season given the QB room. That being the case unless Tepper lights seats on fire and demands a low stakes trade for a younger backup (B. Allen, McKee, etc). If we are a disaster come week 4-5 (and the schedule is not world beaters), he's gonna force the hand. Bryce is done unless he makes a highly improbably run at this point.

You all need to understand this, and I cannot be more clear, CJ Stroud would be awful if he came here. We are a QB graveyard. It is not a coincidence both Sam and Baker were awful here and then turned into Pro Bowlers when they left. QBs die here under Tepper’s Panthers, it is just what it is. CJ also didn’t have a much better stat line than Bryce today.

Sort of exciting based on the crap we’ve drafted at WR in recent years. I’m still worried about his speed and separation. He wasn’t able to separate at all on the almost TD. It’s not good on a deep route (not under thrown) for a CB to be able to reach around your back and knock the ball out of your back hand. He’s clearly better than our recent 2nd and 1st round WRs but his speed and separation was my biggest worry. I really hope that is overblown.

That missed toe drag led to the Bryce fumble. I swear we score on that drive

Again, one play doesn't change a full game's narrative. They had 32 carries for 200 yards. Take away Etienne's single long run of 71 yards, and they only had 129 yards on their other 31 carries. If I told you a team had 31 carries for 129 yards, I don't think anyone would say that team defended the run poorly in that game. I'm not excusing this game, the players, the staff, any of it. I'm just saying people who look at final box scores and try and make the averages or totals be the narrative for an entire game are just being purposefully obtuse to try and make their point and hoping people won't realize it.

I had a different perception because I was a lot younger, but the Chris Weinke days stick out to me as being the worst. I remember destroying a signed Chris Weinke ball I had as a kid with a buddy of mine and yelling Chris Weinke sucks Weinke.

Oh well Hurricanes Hockey coming this month. Atleast we have a team in the Carolinas that are consistently good every seasons (even if they suck it up in the conference finals)

TMac is a #1 and Chubba is a top 16 RB. Yeah it’s bleak after that. We traded away our other best offensive weapon for a fuggin 4th round pick and now starting a 24 year old who doesn’t know how to play football at WR2.
