Weeks ago I tried to warm the huddle that WR/slot/TE was in play for 19, mainly 19 since the number state its correct. I mean Matt millen drafted a QB at #2 overall. Then the next three he used on WRs....... Odds have Panthers to copy this.....

He's shown that his absolute best (minus the Atlanta anomalies) is an average game for any somewhat competent QB. Bringing weapons in is a good thing either way, but I suspect (or perhaps hope) that after next season those weapons will be catching passes from a new QB.

Yeah, you don't say something like that at his age in the prime of your coaching career unless you're gone. It's not like he's retirement age where it would be understandable to be thinking about the wellbeing of the program after you hang it up. If he wins a national championship and leaves that job to come to UNC, that's the most blue blood baller move ever. I mean, when we poached Roy from Kansas Roy wad coming home. Poaching a guy with no ties to the program who just won a national championship at a really good program would be next level flexing on the college basketball world.

Lord knows, please no. Trading up to 10 would fug us so bad. 51 alone wouldn’t do it. trade chart 10 = 1300 19 = 875 51 = 390 35 points short. You’d have to toss in one of the 5ths and maybe even the 200th pick to get the numbers lined up. We would be about 4 points to the good with 159 (27.8) and 200 (11). I wouldn’t even consider doing that for anything other than a QB or a bona fide franchise LT. Personally.

At the same time there were comments about Bryce isn’t getting that extension unless he proves he can be good all the time. He is not consistent. Or has yet to show he can be. Paraphrasing, but it goes to what I and a lot of us have been saying. That floor has to come up, can’t have crap like Arizona and Miami and New Orleans and SF the Jets and 54 passing yards for an entire game, and the low 1st half numbers be the norm. Again.
