  1. Past hour
  2. Carolina was 4-2 against the East Bracket this year. Praying they will be a 6 seed in Oklahoma City so I can drive up. Give us Miami (OH), so we can shut up all this 31-0 talk.
  3. Random Acts of Kindness: Princely Umanmielen Gives to those in Need Around Charlotte (Video) https://x.com/keepblitzin/status/2033302682836824276?s=46
  4. Tommy Tremble should be the starter, TJ is just some guy that had flashes his 1st yr before injurys slowed him down. Evans is a blocking TE that can slip out at 2 OT or DL look to be the best outcome for BPA and need if right guy is there
  5. I had a feeling that would end up being the case. Probably a short term deal. Once the next one expires Philly will likely move on. Goedert is still in his prime, productive and on a playoff caliber team. It made sense for both sides. Him coming here was a pipe dream. *sigh* Oh, well...
  6. Project players are for the later rounds. These are the ones that are nice to gamble on. Not a first round pick like XL…
  7. The Panthers will never show their true direction.
  8. Worth noting that the one QB on this list is 6'4, 220. Dan: it's a big man's game.
  9. @toldozer - missed middling the second half of the Michigan / Purdue game by a blown non-pressure free throw from Purdue.
  10. Agree. Sorry, I don't know Charles Lee personally, and didn't mean to attack him in that manner. But as a coach, he's useless. This team would be just as good with my pit bull coaching them as they would be with Charles Lee coaching them. I've been incredibly critical of this franchise in this chain. But I miss the days when the "Hive Is Alive" - which shows how old I am. This team now has the talent to win. Go get whoever that next guy is that can drive it. Charles Lee isn't it. Let's see what they do over the next 10 games.
  11. It’s slim pickings. Banks is extremely intriguing and is interesting as a five in our front, and is probably the only real option of the true DTs. I like Woods inside but he’s probably doesn’t have the length to play outside. McDonald just isn’t really the type of player you see go high. Average measurables, not much production against the pass. Faulk may actually garner some interest from us. He can play the 5, 4i, 3 in even fronts and is billed as a supposed edge player but I think he’s probably better suited for the above. They’ll like the idea of moving him around-but it’s not going to feel like the plug and play box tick that someone like Sadiq is going to give you. Edit: it could be noted that Faulk’s resume isn’t entirely dissimilar to what Nic Scourton’s was.
  12. Was able to see most of the game without sound, and watched the replay today. Blue line was outstanding. I think there is little doubt Jaccob Slavin is the best defensive player in the league. Chatty, Walker & Miller all had excellent games. Freddie looked pretty damn good. If he and Bussi each find their peak performance, they could carry a couple games in the playoffs. Ehlers has been a little quiet lately...
  13. Today
  14. I know we've met with Genesis Smith, but I don't believe I see him listed.
  15. I have no issues with him from a personal standpoint I just tend to think he is mostly mid at absolute best as a head coach and that's if everything is going perfectly around him. If the team falters down the stretch I think it would be in our best interest to explore potential replacements after the season. Even teams like the Knicks recently fired their head coach after a playoff run. Either we are trying to turn the corner as a franchise or we aren't. And if we are we need standards.
  16. https://bsky.app/profile/profootballtalk.bsky.social/post/3mh4rhxahg22y Goedert back to Philly. Njoku out there lurking still…..
  17. The term “project player” should be banned speech in the war room in the draft. So sick of that poo. We need proven skills
  18. That's not totally correct, because 20m of his salary for 2028 becomes fully guaranteed on the 15th of March in 2027. Those cut numbers for year 3 don't include that as part of the dead money, which it would be. After the 15th of next March, his dead cap hit for 2028 will be 37.5m. I mean I guess they could theoretically cut him and have a dead cap hit of 37.5m and save 1m.... But I doubt it.
  19. Charles Lee is a bum and an empty suit (even though coaches don't wear suits anymore). I have no idea who the coach should be, as I don't know the NBA assistant world, but I'm so tired of this team hiring people who within one year of being here showcase that they have no business running an NBA team. This team is now championship talented, but still coached by what would be the equivalent of Mercer's staff.
  20. Yep, that's how we get players like Leggette over Ladd McConkey, or DJ Johnson who's college production was trash but, you know, measurables
  21. I am all for more large men on the defensive line. I want to see our divisional rival QB's flattened.
  22. Isn't Kayden McDonald more of a NT? Walter Football lists the top 3-4 DE as Peter Woods (R1), Caleb Banks (R1-2), Keldric Faulk could also play OLB (R1-2), LT Overton (R2-3), Darrel Jackson (R2-3).
  23. We mostly played dead that whole road trip. Thankfully the kings and blazers aren't good so we were able to sneak out two wins against them
  24. I honestly think how well the team has played at times has been more of a testament to the potential of the young talent we have on the roster rather than Charles Lee actually moving the needle in any real capacity from a developmental standpoint. Regardless. The Hornets get two days off and then host the Heat on Tuesday night. If we play dead in that one like we mostly did against the Spurs it's a wrap.
  25. I agree, Im getting worse. Even getting C Pat at pick 200 doesn't save this group. Its very boring too. I need a total reset and I have others that I feel are worse than this..... I've never been this bad over the years either.
  26. Brother I hate to tell you but that's a terrible draft. You hit at 51 but the rest is...not good.
  27. If you check next year there's 50 mill in cap space, * without this years draft class or next. 5+ should allow this year given its top 51. Next it jumps and you need another 5-10 mill for 27 draft class. Most team like to carry 10 into each season for injuries. It goes fast....... I feel it pains as a "hater" *but* if my fav Panthers team decides BY is thee guy......(just how...)... I feel they should offer that malik Willis contract as the goal and base for a contract. I believe they feel strong enough to sign these top FA, they are going for it right now........ So that hurts my idea of drafting a starting QB in 27 or even 26....Its hard to reset "going all-in" with a rookie QB learning the NFL game. Hell who knows what QB will be cut after this year too, no one thought Tua or Murray was getting cut before this past season, NO ONE. Watson could be a FA at any point this or next. Honestly wildcard in this mofo is using the 19th on TY simp, let him learn at his own pace and flip BY for a mid pick or just ride him for the whole 5th year. Now you have a low cap hit young QB that's been learning for 2 years and you got him for the next 3 if he's the guy.....why not!?!?!!?
