  1. Past hour
  2. Improving the line in front of him should give us a better look at what the young man can really do. Couple that with a year of experience under his belt and I hope he can take off. Sure would be nice for the linebacking corps here to be league best once again. We did set the mark very, very high around here.
  3. and his usage will be intertwined with the safeties' usage. I kinda see what they might be doing. Send Moehrig and play Ransom deep, using Wallace covering the TE. Send Wallace, Moehrig in coverage, Ransom deep. Send Ransom and Wallace, Moehrig in coverage....Not sure exactly what it will look like, but keeping Horn was important. He is the shutdown CB that can cover in man. Jackson may need help over the top, so the need for a free safety that can read the entire field is not necessary; play deep third behind Jackson and the #2 WR. Just brainstorming--no need for an umbrella when I do that.
  4. Yeah, I think he's gonna be a player I'm just not sure if he'll ever be the type of player you're hoping for out of a top 10 pick.
  5. He definitely is going to get the opportunity, and I remember him doing well when thrust into the fire last year. Wasn't he the guy they said was doing good having the headset and getting the plays in? For what it is worth, he is working out in my Madden Franchise too, haha. He has the Superstar development trait.
  6. This is the Saints current QB room, a 2nd round rookie and former 4th and 5th round QBs. Pretty sad when Rattler is your best option even though Shough is tops of their depth chart for right now. Dude would have been a day 3 guy in the 2024 QB class right there with Rattler. A paper thin QB class pushed Shough to a day 2 pick. Expect them to sign a veteran before training camp.
  7. D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently. oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform. would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset. Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
  8. I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
  9. Today
  10. I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
  11. Meh... he's just motivating himself. Plenty of guys who fall in the draft do this. I never fault a draft prospect for trying to get drafted as highly as possible, I mean that's your job in the moment as a draft prospect. Your analogy doesn't work because the dealership (maybe the individual salesman, maybe not) was trying to to obscure information. Johnson went through all the pre-draft medical checks. He wasn't hiding anything.
  12. Im hopeful for him For a mid-round rookie behind a trash DL I thought he showed decent promise.
  13. How many games did the cowboys win last year? Still gets a game on this stage
  14. I hope so. Morgan definitely showed unspoken faith in Wallace by not drafting a LB.
  15. I like his pairing with Jewell for the upcoming season. Josey can play close to the line + blitz while Wallace can drop back into coverage and cover space with his speed. I can see Evero looking to send Wallace on the blitz in the second half after establishing him as a coverage guy to the opposing offense.
  16. We didn’t need T-Mac when we have Legette though. We needed a guy like Golden to learn behind Theilen for a year and become the premier route runner in the NFL with world class speed. But hey…I wasn’t in the room.
  17. Yeah out of every guy I hope “breaks out”, Trevin is top for me. Getting an ILB in here under 25 at a high level would be ideal given where we stand in our build.

  19. Holy crap, did y'all see the Florida owner go off the rails on Toronto fans last night on Twitter? Dude needs help. https://www.hockeyfeed.com/nhl-news/florida-panthers-owner-sends-unhinged-tweet-after-game-4
  20. Shocker

    GTA 6

The graphics in these trailers look amazing even on base P5. Apparently it’s been in development since 2018. Long wait till release but looks very promising
  21. Let's go a little throwback internet... Caption this...
  22. Glad he didn’t fall to us with the chance of us drafting him. Funny how so many people thought drafting an undersized DT at #8 with poor athletic traits and short arms was going to move the needle for us.. Especially considering we signed Wharton and Brown over the offseason..Robinson and Brown still on the roster as well.
  23. I think Jalon Walker is a dawg, a fantastic college player and a good locker room leader. I'm not sure he has the physical abilities to be the 8th overall pick. Further tweeners scare me. It is well known that in the NFL not only do you have to be a good all around player but you need at least one elite skill/trait. What is Walkers beside his speed rush? So then you're taking a player like Princeley at 8 overall.
  24. Week 17: It's the Peacock Holiday Exclusive in a Saturday night showcase (subscribe to Peacock for the NFL, stay to watch Wicked and The Traitors) "The Peacock Holiday Exclusive will be broadcast on NBC stations in the competing team cities, and available on mobile devices with NFL+. The NFL is the only sports league that presents all regular-season and postseason games on free, over-the-air television in local markets."
  25. My UNC friends are having a field day over this. I told them just imagine those same headlines if they start losing.
