  1. Past hour
  2. Bryce Young has been handed starting gigs since he was a kid and his parents paid for him to get the best coaching available. It cannot be understated what playing for Saban and Alabama did for him in terms of his perception in the media. The hype he has received and the pass he still receives is like nothing I've ever seen. You would think he willed a mediocre Alabama team to a national championship and won it largely on his own. Cam Newton did that. And he still wasn't regarded as the best QB in his class. Bryce showed up to the combine and hid out in a hoodie. He knew full well what he was doing and you best believe his parents were in his ear advising him to do so too. He looks like a guy who has never had to face real adversity in his life. And the Panthers have only reinforced that and further coddled him. The results speak volumes.
  3. signing andy dalton to that deal never made an ounce of sense and you see the usual suspects poo folks when we pointed it out in real time The next "wtf" contract we will rehash is going to be moton and we got receipts for that as well
  4. It's not all on Bryce but he ain't helping
  5. how half of the huddle saw this coming but a mother fuging professional organization didnt doesn give me a lot of warm and fuzzies about our team moving forward
  6. Tyreek Hill carted off the field last night was a bad knee injury
  7. Posted this before but for 2025 our salary cap spending on the offense versus the defense is comically lopsided. We have invested a great deal just to try and make this kid look even mediocre and he can't do it. https://overthecap.com/positional-spending
  8. Robinson? I really don't know who else......I think he's the first injury call up
  9. No disrespect to you, but this is exactly the point. Then maybe you don’t trade up and draft this guy #1 and then give him three years to further run your franchise into the ground simply because you have an affinity for him as a person? You don’t draft QBs that need to be “carried” by their team in the first round, and you definitely don’t draft them #1 overall. And you definitely should cut your losses when you realize that’s what they are. and slow or not, Bryce has missed or poorly placed countless deep throws this year when the receiver beat their coverage. He did it again Sunday. You don’t have to be a burner to get open downfield. But again, all this pressure is placed on everyone else to be flawless because their QB is ass. What’s easier? Having a horrible QB and acquiring 10 above average players to surround him with? Or finding even an above average QB who can make the 10 guys around him, most of whom might be average, better than they actually are? That’s why I’ve never understood this strategy the team took by drafting him in the first place. The amount of resources and assets it takes to accommodate him is unreal.
  10. Yeah, if we can get a QB, HC, DC, FO, most of a defense, almost all depth, probably a kicker and a competent owner....we are probably right there
  11. We get it. It's only on Bryce when it goes well. So which NFL QB wouldn't everyone take over Bryce at this point? Which staff would help him with alm we know? There is no one that runs the scheme Bryce requires to function well because those are all in school. There is no one that can overcome his limitations in that scheme regularly in the NFL. But it's never on Bryce... I am so tired of having a QB that has to be carried constantly or play a team that's asleep.
  12. I find it funny that these guys sign up for this job after multiple meeting with Tepper. Coaches or GMs who 'didn't interview well' or decline further interviews show a lot of intelligence IMO. Tepper has a type and it's why the team is a constant dumpster fire.
  13. Today
  14. i really thought joey was gonna be something not sure what happened to him
  15. They overspent on OGs so they went cheap behind them. Classic overreach. Brining back an injury prone C just leads to the eventual shorthanded they set up through their personnel choices. With Moton making bank too they were left hoping to avoid injuries...a very dumb approach in the NFL.
  16. I remember the same but Mike was not a “franchise QB”. So I think it’s because my view of him is relative to expectation. The fact that BY has this comparable stat to Mike Glennon is pitiful.
  17. Fire Canales then sell the team
  18. I think the bones are there if we can get a big strong fast gunslinger. Just gotta add some juice and get a new Defensive coordinator
  19. I'd probably feel like I was the 85 Bears if I got to go up against Bryce Young every day.
  20. He sounds like me in 8th grade trying to BS my way through a book report for a book I never read.
  21. And let's point out the key word in this...FUNCTIONAL. Not good, not great...just functional. Thats all we are asking because people will deliberately misconscrew what you said like you are saying dalton is gonna take us to the promise land or something. We just want to see a offense operate on a nfl level.
  22. Can't believe he's above Mike Glennon. It's been a while but I remember him being solid in Tampa.
  23. This is embarrassing to watch. Nervous to talk at pressers and they want him to LEAD a team? Just can him already and move on. fug!!!!!!!!
