FearTheCats's final mock

Round 1 - Marqise Lee WR USC

If he were eligible for last year's draft he would have likely been a top 10 pick. Speedy receiver with good hands that would be a day one starter.

Round 2 - Billy Turner OT North Dakota State

We obviously need multiple OT's in the draft and Turner is a guy that I would like to see us pick.

Round 3 - Brandon Coleman, WR Rutgers

Tall receiver that lacks speed but could a big time red zone target for Cam.

Round 4 -  James Hurst OT North Carolina

One of the more underrated prospects in the draft in my opinion, he held his own against Clowney this past year.

Round 5 - Ahmad Dixon S Baylor

Another safety wouldn't hurt and Dixon is guy that would flourish under Rivera's scheme imo.

Round 6 - Aaron Colvin CB Oklahoma

We probably need another CB and although he tore his ACL in January I like his potential. Hopefully he will be fully recovered by mid season.

Round 7 - Connor Shaw QB South Carolina

Capital+One+Bowl+Wisconsin+v+South+Carol

Anderson won't be here forever and Shaw would be a nice back up for Cam. Dude is tough as nails and just a winner.

1- not a real fan but he is a 1rst rd talent

2- nice pick

3- there are at least 15 wr better than Coleman in this draft , i personally say around 20 better.

4- a steal in this round

5- Ok

6- good speed but we have plenty of backup corners already

7-  great pick

I like the draft, though I think you can get Turner in the 3rd round.(many see him as a guard)

Draft actually looks like the one I was going to do later this week, with just a couple of changes.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
