I'm curious specifically what these motivational and work ethic issues are.  Are they the same ones that Cam supposedly had?  Are Benjamin's coaches confirming he's regularly tardy and doesn't properly keep up with the playbook and tape study?

 

 

As I read yesterday, most draft experts talk themselves into a dizzy, and then everything becomes an echo chamber, and everyone tries to over think the other expert because they want to be the one that called it!

 

When all this talk about Bridgewater being the No. 1 pick, and how he would have to really bomb during the college season in order to fall out of the top QB spot, I said last year that the media will find a way to bury him even if he had a great season. Well, he had a great season, nothing to indicate their opinion should change yet as of yesterday, Bridgewater's ceiling was as a backup QB, according to some reports. LOL! These are the same experts that claimed that his last game (where I think he put up 400+ yards on UM) proved that he should be the No. 1. No further games have been played-yet now we get a 180 and he is a 4th round prospect.

 

If we wait long enough, we will hear how Aaron Murray/Zach Mettenberger/David Fales is really the best prospect in the draft-and Clowney shouldn't even be taken before the 3rd round!

I don't really know about work ethic, but it did take him awhile to put it all together.

I think Beckham Jr's a little more ready out of the box, personally, but you can't ever coach a guy to be 6ft 5 and quick.

How are people questioning his off the field personality and motivation? He had over 1000 yards and 10 TDS did he not? Idt he's been in trouble...ala Famous Jameis. Ask yourself if you would have taken Jeffrey knowing what we know now...and KB has done way more this offseason to help himself than Jeffrey did.

Talk about a guy that seems to have fallen since his last college game. I get all the concerns about him but as you all know he is an intriguing prospect. 

 

What is the earliest you all would draft him? Could he fall to us in the 2nd or does somebody take a flier on him earlier? I do not believe he will be our pick, but when DG talks about catch radius this is definitely your guy!

 

If we get that monster in the 2nd, I have no complaints.  Tons of upside.  He's reasonable with our first pick too though there are others I'd prefer.

He seems very raw and immature to me.  But, I trust that Gettleman and company will due their due diligence on the guy...just like they did with Cam.

 

With the size and speed that he has, if Gett & Co are comfortable with all of the other aspects of him......I will say welcome aboard.

I will not argue his potential, which is off the charts, however he is very raw in his routes and he drops too many balls for my liking. there's more to being a WR than just being a giant.

Im a big fan of Cooks but I feel like he will be long gone before our pick. I do think Benjamin will be available but if we don't pick him I do think he will be gone within 10 picks of our 1st round pick. 

 

Unfortunately I feel like the following is going to happen: 

1. WR off the board: Watkins, Evans, OBJ, Cooks, Lee

2. OT off the board: Robinson, Matthews, Taylor and Martin 

 

We are going to have to choose between the next tier of WRs (Benjamin, Lattimer, Davante Adams, Robinson, Matthews)

Or

 

Next tier of OTs (moses, cyrus, bitoni) 

 

Or

 

"Best Available" DE, CB, OLB (Koni, verrett, shazier)

Did anyone hear the WRAL, (in Raleigh),  sports last night?  Steve Logan said he would not pick Benjamin. I'm asking because I could not go back and hear the full segment on the website. Did Logan have first hand knowledge of his bad attitude? I was only able to hear the last few seconds of the report. I thought I heard him bashing KB's attitude.

Greg Cosell likes KB more then Evans and says he has more upside then all WR not name Watkins.

Benjamin. ....USC Mike Williams was a no brainer huge target WR in his draft. Jonathan Baldwin? Huge target.

KB is the biggest WR wildcard in this draft IMO.  If a team falls in love with him, I could see him going as high as the late teens.  On the other hand, it honestly wouldn't shock me if he was still on the board at #60.  I'd say opinions widely vary about him from scout to scout and GM to GM.  There may be some heated war room debates about him today.

I don't see him being anywhere near the 60th pick.  Give a guy who admits

he didn't put in enough effort some credit.  He's recognized a problem.

 

I was dead set against him for the past month, but if Getty approves, I'll be ok with

it.  

 

It's just that he has waaaaaaaay to much potential to be ignored till 60.
