We didn't do Cam any favors, and if this is it we're gonna have some problems

How do you know? You don't, and that alone gives me no confidence in your opinion.

You'd be happy with drafting an OT that isn't good enough to start, even down the road. That's all I need to know about your draft synopsis

The same logic can be applied to you. How do you no that none of the OTs passed the first round wont be starters or eventually become starters? You don't.

I personally enjoyed the draft. I think we gained some solid players that will help out at WR, OG, LB, CB, and S.

I also think by the time week 4 rolls around and everyone on this board is crying and screaming that Cam's taking too many sacks and we have no one at Tackle we are all going to wish more had been done in FA or the draft to address this glaring need.

I'm on the Nate Chandler bandwagon. I think he's a freakish athlete to accomplish the position changes that he's already done. I just hate that he's untested at the Offensive Tackle position. We are rolling into a season putting at risk our "franchise" QB.

Byron Bell - A UDFA that has been able to hold his own on occasion at RT. Mario Williams might as well have put him on his Christmas card list after the performance in the Buffalo game. He often gets beaten and struggles in pass protection.

So what's the solution at this point? We can only hope that with future cuts we can land a Tackle at the right price and with the talent to make the position decent or strong.

Kelvin Benjamin, Jerricho Cotchery, Jason Avant, Ed Dickson, Tiquan Underwood, and Greg Olsen >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2013 receivers

We got "two" day 1 players out of the draft: KB and Turner.

Bell - Silatolu - Kalil - Turner - Chandler

Still believe that we'll add another vet OT someway, somehow. Rather thats after cuts, FA, or trade.

Cam is in damn good shape.

Philly Brown will be a weapon by the start of the season I think too.

I think DG is entitled to build the team he see fit. It is his job that is on the line.

But as I said, DO NOT expect Newton or the offense to carry our team anywhere. This is a defensive team first led by our front 7. We will go as far as they carry us. So on offense, we must not turn over the ball, or otherwise put the defense in a bad spot, and generally get out of the way.

I look forward to another year where our defense ranks in the top 5, and carries us to the post-season.

For some reason people don't notice this obvious fact. BPA is just doing the bare minimum as a GM to excuse themselves of their due diligence. People need to come to accept that there is a possibility that Gettleman may not know what he's doing.

lol... wut?

If somebody were to ask the huddle pre-draft if they would be ok drafting just 1 WR, 1 CB, 1 OG, and 0 OTS with none of our draft picks being viable options in the return game, I think 98% would have scoffed. Now that its happened it's somehow ok. This was a terrible draft, imo.

I must be In the 2%, because this tackle class was horrible and basically 4 deep. I didn't expect the team to take a tackle at all and think it was an excellent draft with great value selections.
