Eh, he's pretty solid when healthy.  Don't know if he was ever elite.  Injuries are probably going to wreck his career.

 

Dallas will always be 8-8.

 

Using descriptors like "elite" and "one of the best" in conjunction with the "when healthy" disclaimer does nothing but discredit every player at his position who plays an entire season.

 

Lee is neither elite, nor is he one of the best when he cannot complete a season. If that were the case, the ring of honor around BOA would be full of former Panther players who excelled once or twice and got hurt, never to play again.

I was just telling my son how I am not going to be picking Sean Lee this year in fantasy football.  I told him exactly, "Lee is a beast, but he gets hurt all of the time."

 

IMO Lee is arguably the best LB in football for the half dozen or so full games that he gives you per year. The sarcasm greatly outweighs the truth in that statement though.

This could get interesting as far as the Cowboys are concerned.. NFL Live hosts said there have been rumors going around that the Boys are allowing contact in their OTA's, which is of course taboo. If found to be true, this could cost them practices at the least.

For those of you who don't follow the Cowboys. Lee is the heart of the defense much like how Luke is. They are both extremely talented and Lee is a probowl caliber player when healthy. Without Lee they are complete poo on defense.
