An Offseason Traffic Recipe

Was this what you were doing with the whole Terrell McClain pro bowl thing?

Obviously Zod was wrong about McClain but honestly some of you guys never let it go.  I sometimes wish I had one of those neuralizer pens from Men in Black that I could zap some posters so they would let some things go.

You aren't alone, like CRA and the running back thing..........

They just want attention. It's cute in a pathetic sort of way.

The Traffic Truffle

1. Make silly claim.

2. Make it about a controversial subject

3. Tweet it

4. Sit back and watch the starving football fans devour each other in a withdrawal induced frenzy.

what happens in that #4 is that portions of their article and, more importantly for them, a link to that article will get posted on numorous relevant sites, including bigger ones like this, and really benefit from the link juice. and then there's the retweets and the increase in followers.

the more we quote garbage and link to it, the more the garbage makers grow.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
