Justin Blackmon, not Josh Gordon, is now the dumbest player in the NFL

top dawg

There are people on this board who still would (and probably higher than a 7th).

Technically, about any offense done 'habitually' has the possibility to end your NFL career.

Of course, there's no such thing as a ;domestic abuse test' (a fact for which a lot of guys are probably happy) but both Blackmon and Josh Gordon were at the stage of the NFL's Substance Abuse Program where they were being tested ten times a month.

You're being tested that frequently, you know another failed test costs you your million dollar job, and you still use, you're majorly addicted (and probably not especially bright).

Too bad they can't test for alcohol either, eh?

Because on these nfl players nights off, they are at the club "turning up" while drinking ridiculous amounts of alcohol which can seriously damage their internal organs, and proceeding to drive off in their cars while intoxicated, or even knocking their girlfriends out due to the violence alcohol can evoke.

Some people choose to smoke a little weed, kickback, and watch a movie.

Yes, it is stupid to smoke before you know you have an important test. But these rules are fugging bullshit and if you don't think that, than you aren't very bright.

We live in a very fuged up, uneducated, and ignorant world. Some day the truth will be revealed and we will all look back on these times and laugh.

There are big lobbies in Washington spending a lot of money to keep weed illegal, because they know if legalized it would hurt their profit margin.

Big pharmaceutical companies, for-profit prison groups, police unions, alcohol and beer companies.

It's only a matter of time though.

That argument always comes up in these discussions, and just like now it's always worthless.

I live in a beautiful state in which it's completely legal for me to smoke gratuitous amounts of weed an grow it in the comfort of my home.

How do you feel about same sex marriage laws? I bet I know.

The use of weed should absolutely be legal, but it is a completely stupid decision to use it often, and I feel sorry for anybody who uses it often. And the fact is in the NFL it is against the rules to use it as a part of their substance abuse policy. It completely makes sense that the NFL wouldn't want their athletes using drugs like that. The question of legality has nothing to do with the NFL's rules. They have all kind of banned substances that are legal. Gordon and Blackmon are just complete retards.

I assume by "they" you mean Gordon and Blackmon. In that case it's not just about weed.

They've had dui's as well. It's more about those guys being dumbasses.

True.

I just don't see how anyone can do those stupid things that will end a multiple million dollar career.

True stupidity

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
