Smartest player is probably Ryan Fitz.

 

Smartest football mind is almost impossible to know.  Many would think QB out of the gate, but lots of LB's and Oline are pretty bright too.

It would have to be 'on the field brains' for fans to even have a clue, and that would give a huge edge to positions where the player has to make lots of quick decisions. You can argue this endlessly.
