You thought Cason returning was crazy?

Because he is very fragile. And actually he is their #1 WR.

I know he's their #1 WR, that doesn't mean he's more vital to their team than Earl Thomas - arguably the best defender on the best defense in the league (a legit DPOY candidate).  They got to the Superbowl with Harvin playing 1 game all season.

Yeah he's fragile but they didn't pay him all that money not to utilize his talents.  If they're gonna risk getting probably their best player on the team hurt returning kicks, but not risk a less important player who has already proven he's one of the most dangerous returners in the league?

You do not want your outside threats returning as that leaves then a little winded for the first couple of plays of the upcoming drive.

    • That is why he's been actually able to run scrambles for the past few games because teams don't fear him as a runner and sure as hell don't fear him for a QB sneak.  So yeah, no team is spying him to keep him in containment if plays break out of structure.
    • I honestly do think it is an intelligence thing. The whole Rico debacle opened my eyes. Rico was hot. Two 200+ games in a row, complete dominance. Dave was not smart enough to play Rico instead of putting in an injured Hubbard (Hubbard even said he came back injured. I'm sorry, that isn't low intelligence, that is an IQ of a 5 year old and I still think a 5 year old makes the right decision. Injured guy, or not injured guy killing it? Think about how low of intelligence you have to make that decision. That is mid season firing decision. So much so that investigation into fixing a game should happen. Its like Dave can't make decisions during the game. Like he is handed a gameplan and not allowed to change it. Its that obvious. There are only 3 scenarios. Dave is given the gameplan before the game and not allowed to deviate, he is fixing games, or he is incredibly stupid. I think it is one of the first two, I dont think he is that stupid.
    • The speed of the moving parts when he dropped to the ground the defender was already lunging forward to make a tackle.
